The DNWCRC has embarked on the following activities in order to meet our obligations to our aims and objectives (as directed by the Dublin City Childcare Committee under the EOCP and Childcare Investment Programme) and our service users; childminders; Parents/Foster Parents/guardians and Childcare Providers.

Childminder Initiative
The DNWCRC developed a childminding initiative in late 2004 and throughout 2005. The initiative involved establishing a childminders network in the Dublin North West area and the gathering and dissemination of up to date information on all areas of interest for childminders.

Training was providers to the Childminders Network on the following themes
