Ballymun Partnership Enterprise Services offers a range of supports to small business & persons considering setting up their own business. Enterprise services provided by Ballymun Partnership include a one-to-one confidential information service, start-up business workshops and courses, grant advice, and support in development of business plans. Through our business services Ballymun Partnership aim to assist clients in gaining the information and expertise to help enable them to overcome the many obstacles which they may experience in entering self-employment.
Back to Work Enterprise Allowance
The Back to Work Enterprise Allowance encourages unemployed people, lone parents and people getting Disability Allowance or Blind Person's Pension to take up self-employment. People participating on Back to Work Enterprise scheme receive four years financial support along with any 'secondary benefits' they already have (subject to certain conditions).
If you live in the Ballymun Partnership catchment area and are eligible for the Back to Work Enterprise Allowance, the Partnership business advisor can guide you through the application process and any additional questions you may have on the your business idea.

Business Workshop
Our business workshops provide you with knowledge and understanding about your own business as well as introducing you to different ways of thinking about book keeping, business structure, business and marketing planning and cash management.
Each workshop will cover different aspects of starting and running a small business. These will run over a number of sessions outlined below. Please call to register for future dates.

Free Weekly Small Business Support
We provide a free small business advice and guidance service every weekly morning in offices in Ballymun. These sessions are aimed at people who are interesting in self employment or have recently started a business and may need some guidance on how to move forward.
What is required?
No previous experience of business is required to attend but you will have a keen interest and genuine desire to learn about operating a business and what it can take to run and manage different aspects of your own business.
