An important piece of work for the education section of Ballymun Partnership is its Learning Promotion Campaign. While the current activity focuses on the Education Fair (see above) a series of events, activities and actions by the Learning Promotion Sub Group of Ballymun Partnership were undertaken in 2006 and 2007 as part of the Learning Promotion Campaign then called the Ballymun Education for Generations Initiative. Members of the Learning Promotion Sub Group then decided in 2007 to pool their efforts with the Lifelong Learning Sub Group and it is now the Lifelong Learning Sub Group that continues Ballymun Partnerships work to promote learning as a real option for anybody and everybody from the cradle to the grave.
