Schools in our community work tirelessly to promote school attendance levels. In 2008 they approached the community sector to ask for more support to improve school attendance. For this reason Ballymun Whitehall Area Partnership is now co-ordinating Ballymun School Attendance Community Action Initiative a collaboration between numerous statutory, community and voluntary sector services and organisations. The Initiative comprises seven actions each with a separate lead agency and then partner agencies to take on some of the work
