Our Lady of Victories International Day – A Great Success

On Wednesday, 29th April 2009, Our Lady of Victories held an International Day to celebrate diversity amongst their schools’ population. The day was organised by the Home School Community Liaison Co-ordinators in the OLV Schools with some help from Ballymun Whitehall Area Partnership. The event was opened by Emily Logan, Ombudsman for Children, and the event attracted a huge attendance from parents, Community Organisations and Local Residents. After browsing the wonderful exhibitions of each country on display, the crowd were entertained by music, dance and story telling. At the end of the event, everyone had the opportunity to sample different foods from a variety of different countries made especially for the day. A Fun Day was had by all. Check out some of the Photos attached.
