Ballymun Voter Registration Drive

The staff of Ballymun Welfare Rights, supported by Ballymun Whitehall Area Partnership and the Community Gardai held a hugely successful voter registration drive Ballymun Shopping Centre and Ballymun Civic Centre on 23rd and 24th April.

The aim of the drive was to encourage local people to register to vote, so they can use their vote in the upcoming European & Local Election on Friday 5th June 2009. Over the two days hundreds of people checked the register and over 60 new voters were added to the registrar with many more planning to register at a later stage.

If you still have not registered dont miss you chance, so go along to your local Garda station and the community Garda will check ID and stamp registration forms there and then.
