Dublin North Skillnet Successful!!

Ballymun Partnership and a group of local employers with support from the North Dublin Chamber of Commerce have been successful in receiving funding to setup the Dublin North Skillnets. This funded training programme which will be managed by a new company aims to provide private sector employees with training supports over a two year period starting in early 2008. The funds for training will be provided by the Dept of Enterprise Trade and Employment via its Skillnet organisation and through member companies.

The 30 local companies and small businesses involved as members see this opportunity helping them address training needs across all business activities with a particular focus on developing low basic skills training. The success of the application also offers members an opportunity to network with 30 like minded companies to develop new business relationships.

We would like to thank all 30 managers/owners for there time in completing training needs analyses and submitting a membership fee in advance of the outcome. This commitment demonstrates a solid foundation on which we can to build.
