Ballymun Partnership are proposing to set up a community bulletin to distribute to every home in Ballymun.
This bulletin should provide seasonal information about activities and developments happening in the community. If you or your organisation have information you would like included, could you please forward a brief description including:
- Activity
- Times
- Dates
- Relevant contacts
- Venue
We are particularly keen to disseminate information about the following:
- Courses available to the local community;
- Summer activities especially for young people;
- Rights and Entitlements for people ( and any recent changes in those);
- Local activities within a specific neighbourhood;
- Public meetings planned;
- Structural or physical changes that might impact on a community eg. works due to start etc.;
- Groups currently operating in Ballymun that people may not know about;
- Any major community events coming up over the summer months;
- Job opportunities in Ballymun;
- Relevant opening times and operating times of advice or support clinics;
- Times and dates of sporting activities in Ballymun.
We would welcome the opportunity to let people share information about a group or activity they would like to set up also.
We would hope people could be as concise as possible in their information as we have no way of knowing way yet of gauging how much information we will receive.
Could you please respond by Friday 18th of May as we aim to distribute the information by early June at the latest.
Depending on positive feedback from the initial bulletin, we would hope to distribute it quarterly.
The bulletin will have no editorial content included.
We welcome any suggestions or ideas you may have in relation to this and look forward to hearing about what's going on and please distribute this request as wide as possible.
