The annual Childminders Christmas Party was held this year in the Axis Centre in Ballymun on December 15th ('06). The staff of the Ballymun Partnership also came along with their children. We were delighted to welcome back Charlie the Clown; Sinead, who painted faces for the children; and, of course, Santa Claus, who had presents for everyone. We were indebted to McCabes Chemist on Ballymun Road, who donated beautiful cosmetic and toiletry packs for the local childminders.
Everybody tucked into the cocktail sausages and chicken pieces, cooked for us by the staff of the Axis Centre, as well as the more usual party fare provided by the Childminding Advisors. Luckily, the children had left some room for pizza, delivered by Dominos.
