Ballymun Parents Celebrate National Play Day

The Ballymun Partnership was the main sponsor for Teddy Bears Picnic organised by Ballymun Lifestart Project . The Picnic was held in Santry Woods on June the 16^th which was also National Play Day. The event was promoted through the National Play Resource Centre.

Play Ireland (click to visit) is a website which provides a guide for groups who want to organise a play event on their street or open space.

A major contribution to the success of the day were the play activities provided such as skipping ropes, parachute games and empty shoe boxes. The grannies and parents participated in play activities with the children. A fun day was had by all.
