Niall Crowley from the Equality Authority talks about Anti-Racism in the Workplace Week.

In acknowledgment of Anti-Racism in the Workplace Week (November 1st to 5th, 2004), the Ballymun Intercultural Group held a talk with guest speakers Niall Crowley, Ceo of the Equality Authority and Deo Ladislas- Ndakengerwa from Sporasi.

Both speakers focused on the importance of equality in the workplace, including equality for people with disabilities, members of ethnic minorities, and non-nationals. Deo spoke about his experience of working in Ireland as an Irish citizen and the problems one can encounter even after gaining citizenship.

Niall Crowley focused on the functions of The Equality Authority in promoting equality in the workplace, stating that the growth in case files under the Employment Equality Acts 1998-2004 has risen to 42%.
