Over 25 local community and voluntary groups came together on International Women's Day (March 8^th, 2004) to provide information on their services to the women of Ballymun.

Located in the shopping centre the groups provided information on courses, workshops, family supports, creative past-times, youth supports and health services to those interested.

The local Community Arts Factory used the hoardings around the new buildings in a creative way by painting portraits of local women by the women themselves.

The organising committee promises to have a bigger and better celebration next year.
